When people suddenly realize that they can understand the economy, a subject considered to be off-limits and taboo to them, they may get empowered. And they may get even more empowered when they also realize that by just drawing lines on a piece of paper they now have a language to express their own thoughts about the economy.
And they may start thinking: “why can’t other subjects be made easy for me to understand?”
And that’s’ a good thing, because I believe life is inherently simple.
SeeTheDollars may facilitate an economic revolution.
People get enthused and fight for a cause they understand.
Social causes, for example, make people very enthusiastic about and they are ready to fight for them, because they understand them, they live them, and know exactly how to articulate their demands. But the economy? They are ready to accept whatever is being served to them, because they are in total darkness. They don't even know the words.
Until now. The SeeTheDollars line drawings give people both the knowledge about the economy and the language to articulate their demands. They can get enthusiastic about having a beautiful economy and they may get mobilized to fight for it. An economy where everyone can participate to build.
